Planning to spend Christmas at Disney

My family is planning on spending the Christmas week at Disney world, but I have heard that may be the worst time to go. I was told that sometimes the parks get so full they reach max capacity and have to turn people away from entering the park.

I was hoping to get some feedback to see how true that is and if I need to change my reservations.
