I'm finding it funny the number of people that don't find the humor in planking. Really? You didn't think any of those pictures were the slightest bit funny?
I think it's hilarious. Tonight was the first night I've heard of it (how come my Facebook friends don't plank??)
I wanna go planking now!
The thing is... you can photograph yourself in the position and pretty much plank yourself in any location using photoshop so makes me wonder how many of those pics were genuine.... but still funny as anything, lol.
Ah, planking. I just learned about this last week at NSLC in D.C. Kids in my group planked on the Jefferson Memorial steps. One kid planked next to a sleeping sunbather near Capitol Hill. Another one planked on top of the statue of FDR in the FDR Memorial. They all did it in good fun and tried to do it when no one was around and trying to view the memorials, so no one minded.
This is my g/f .... nothing like a few drinks to make you wanna plank across a Golden Tee. She's gotta work on her plank . What's with the high head? She was blaming the raised upper torso on her..... **ahem** but you know what? What kind of excuse is that?
We'll get it down. Disney is in a couple months, and we have accurate, precise planking to do. We have a Jimmy Buffett concert this weekend. I'm hoping we can practice, then.
I am in the category of thinking this was kind of funny
I was expecting to see a bunch of teenagers or college student in the pictures and was surprised to find there are a bunch of older men and women "planking" which makes it even funnier.
I find it harmless as long as you are being safe doing it.
Double Barrell "had some margarita's" Mexico Plank:
Crocodile Plank:
Soarin' Plank:
And this one, is our most proud plank. Not a Disney one, but awesome, none-the-less.
A double plank, on a CPD car. It was my birthday, and we asked permission. Get this - the cop whipped his phone out, and showed us all HIS planks, including one in full riot gear across the Chgo Police Dept podium!!!
Then said "Alright, wait until I turn around...." He did, and this is what we got:
Yep, my son's (especially my youngest DS14) like to plank all over the place. Well, atleast they did last year. They haven't done it much lately. Probably not as "popular". After our cruise last year, my son posted the pictures that he took with his camera and there were A LOT of planking pictures of him and all the friends he made on the cruise. They were planking EVERYWHERE!!! Cracked me up.
