Can anyone recommend restaurants to eat at that are good for kids?

We might do a buffet one night but I'm keen to hear of places which accommodates children.

Not overally fussed if the places aren't particular to Las Vegas - it'll be the first place we stay in during our first trip to US.

    Serendipity 3 is good.

Also the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace is awesome. My son sat down at the table with his first plate of food and said "I'm in heaven". We only did breakfast there but I've heard the other meals are good too. Definitely worth a visit.

Excalibur has a nice buffet plus there are carnival type games for kids on the lower level of the hotel.

Rio has two different buffets and there is a Mardi Gras type parade in the sky and performers toss beads to guests.

There is a really good deli-type restaurant in Treasure Island but I can't remember it's name.

There is the Earl of Sandwich in Planet Hollywood. Spice Market buffet is also in PH. I will be eating dinner at Bacchanal in Ceasars in 2 weeks.

There is a McDonalds on the strip. Near the Coke and M&M store, in between them there are some small fast foods. I think one is Dairy Queen , Subway and a few others.

The Buffet in the Bellagio is good. The Wicked Spoon in The Cosmopolitian is very good. These buffets are a bit pricey as well as Bacchanal.

    There are so many places.

When will you be going to Vegas? If it is after I go I can list some off places that I am going to try. Don't know if you have a car or not.

The Bellagio officially is not child friendly. Children supposedly aren't allowed at the buffet unless they're hotel guests. They also don't have child prices.

I understand that they typically turn a blind eye to the child policy, but I thought I'd put it out there.

That policy is not for the buffet. Anyone can eat at the buffet and not be a hotel guest.

    Thanks everyone!

We are there Sep 15th-19th. Our hotel is on the Strip but closer the airport. I did see a Maccas closeby when I looked at google earth which good be good for emergency!

I'm not keen on buffet eating but definitely want to go to at least one when we are there. We will be seeing the LOVE show which I believe is at The Mirage and Nathan burton so will see if any of these places are nearby.

It sounds like Planet Holiday has a few good places and worth checking out.

How much do the buffets cost - are they around the same? Do they generally charge less for children?

I was there a few days ago with a child and he wasn't out of place at all and the line to go in was full of children and inside and getting food at the buffet were many children of various ages.

It's as child friendly as any buffet anywhere else.

They are very friendly , they want your business. And the food is excellent. I have eaten there once. We try to explore different places. We stayed at the Bellagio once and in the drawer there was a coupon in the drawer for a free breakfast from the café. That was good also. I love the chocolate fountain and the bakery attached. Mmmmmm.....going in two weeks need to make the run in there.

I'm just saying that the Bellagio has an official policy and one that seems to be plainly stated. It's my understanding that they don't particularly enforce it, but it's still there. That's it. I'm not surprised that there was no issue, but I'm just saying the policy exists regardless of whether or not they choose to actually enforce it.

Now I've heard of cases where Wynn's/Encore did enforce their under 21 policy.

When I took my kids we ate at the Rainforest Cafe in MGM Grand. They also loved the Pizza (take out but with tables all around the area) in New York, New York.

I second the Rainforest Cafe. We were the with our three kids, (4,6 & 8) on Sunday night and they were mesmerised. The food was good too. Last night we went to the Tournament of the Kings at Excalibur, which was dinner and a show. The kids thought it was awesome (we enjoyed it too). Not sure where we'll eat today.

Yes, it is set up the same way. ::yes::

Also, it is located right inside the doors that face LV Blvd (and NYNY hotel) so you don't have to walk the kids through the casino to get to it. :thumbsup2

We were there in July and ate with 8 kids & 5 adults at Max Brenner's Chocolate Bar. It was so much fun for the kids! They have regular food, not just chocolate.
