Photo posting?

I am new at attempting to post photos in messages here... I just tried and the photo won't show up for others - but it does for me... but they see an X.

I am linking them from kodakgallery.com - can someone help me withthis please.

Most likely your Kodak gallery probably does not allow direct linking.

You need to use a server with direct linking. Photobucket.com is very popular and probably the most user friendly. It's also free.

Upload your photo there. They will even show you the proper codes to use. (Be sure to select the bulletin board code. It's the code that begins with

. Just copy and paste that code into your post (or signature) and your photo will appear.

If you're putting photos into your signature, be sure to follow the DIS signature guidelines. You can find everything in the 'sticky' threads here at the top of the Tech forum.
