Petites Assiettes de Remy Questions

Has anyone done the new Petites Assiettes de Remy? It appears this is a new dining experience and I haven't been able to find out too much information online. I would be curious to hear from someone that has participated.

We will be taking our first Disney cruise on the Dream with our son but as it is only four nights we have very limited time! I'm wondering if it would be possible to do this event at Remy and still be able to go to the dining room with our son for his dinner. Thanks!

There is not much info about it so far... I'm interested in it too. Especially if it's less expensive. (As long as there is not only fish and sea food, which is the main reason I won't go to Remy) ;)

Well we both have a bit of time before we sail so hopefully there will be some firsthand reports before then! The little bit I have read sounds like it would be a lovely experience :)

I haven't heard anything about this and am super curious. Is it on the site, or elsewhere?

Yes, I saw it mentioned on the Disney site :) If you search it you will find the article. Basically it is a small plate and wine pairing experience that they plan to offer the first night of each cruise. It sounds like it will be a fantastic experience but I do wish I could find more details!

We were just on the 4 day DREAM and ate at Remy's and no, seafood wasn't the only thing offered by far!! There was veal, chicken, and 2 or 3 beef dishes . Also one person in our party did not eat seafood and she told the server. Low and behold out comes the chef, discussed what she could eat and would like and created an entire menu just for her - sans any seafood!! Awesome! It was so great we tried to go twice but they were full.

We are sailing in march on the Fantasy. Neither my travel agent (Disney specialist) nor I have been able to get any details on this experience beyond "check the navigator". I am wondering if you won't need to sign up, or if you only sign up once on board the ship. Hoping for details soon...

When I called Disney they said it had to booked once on board the ship. That's about all I got from them other than the info that's already online.

I haven't tried this particular offering, but you don't need to eat seafood in Remy's. I'm allergic to all seafood but did the French menu with a substitution for the seafood courses. I informed the restaurant beforehand and they just told me to tell the server. He then helped me to pick something that would fit the course progressions that had no seafood in it.

Hi.
Now that more time has passed, has anyone tried Petites Assiettes de Remy on the first night of the cruise?
Worthwhile or not?

It wasn't part of my cruise in April when I went (turns out I changed my mind and tried Remy after all... best dinner of my life, absolutely worth all the money spent!) and never heard from it again. I'd be interested.

Bumping... Has anyone tried the Petites Asiettes de Remy? What time does it start? Must admit we're very intrigued but not sure if would work with kids.

We will definitely be doing this if we can when we sale next October! We did the Remy dinner as well as the Remy Dessert experience and both were out of this world!

We did Petites Asiettes de Remy about a month ago when we were on the 4 day cruise. It was marvelous, relaxing and a great way to spend a couple of hours (adults only)! Remy is NOT stuffy as some suggest, the service is always extremely cordial and friendly. I have been there several time but this was the first for Petites Asiettes de Remy and we certainly weren't disappointed.

What time was this offered?
