I'd really like to see Huey Lewis & The News come to Epcot . . .that would be awesome!

Can't wait to see the performance line up . . .can't book my fall trip yet until I know . . .:lmao:

OMG I would *love* to see Huey Lewis and the News at Eat to the Beat! (saw them twice in the 80's!) :) But oh how awful would it be if they were there when I'm not!!!!

I would like to see Kool and the Gang again. Several years ago we were at the F&W festival and they were performing. We sat just a couple of rows from the stage and had a fantastic time!

Starship is there pretty much every F&W and F&G festival and a quick look at their website about 2 weeks ago confirmed that they will be opening the festival on Sept.27th.I think that the festival should be extended another two weeks, maybe start a week earlier and end a week later so they can have more spots open to bring in new groups to the festival.Huey Lewis would be great,I know they've played at the Bands Brew and BBQ at Sea World and Busch Gardens before so a trip to Epcot might be a possibility. How about some groups I just saw last week at Bands Brew and BBQ last weekend,Hall and Oates and the Goo Goo Dolls,I think they both would be popular. How about bringing back the Beach Boys who haven't been there for several years or how about Frankie Valli or Chicago both of whom have played at Universal Mardi Gras and were great.

I would love to see Hall and Oates, the Beach Boys, Frankie Valli, and Chicago there but maybe the venue is too small for them. I have only been to concerts with these groups that had ?8000 seats and were sold out concerts.

David Cassidy. I saw him a few years ago (2006,2007?) and it brought back memories of my first concert, when I was about 10 years old.

Beach Boys have played at the America Gardens theater at Epcot several years and they're as big a name as any of those groups if not the biggest.I went to some of those shows and yes it wasn't easy to get seats with people waiting as early as noon for the first show but they did play there.

I saw him too and loved the show. He was so good!

It was just luck of the draw that we were at Disney when he was and I was so happy!

I vote for Hall and Oates!!

Olivia newton -John.... She cancelled as a narrator at Christmas, but would love to see her at Disney. Sawn her over 20 times in the last 13 years... She was awesome!

My realistic options: Eddie Money Three Dog Night George Thorogood Steve Miller Band Cheap Trick

Pipe Dream list: Boston...Journey...Heart....Pat Benatar

I think you can take Steve Miller and Cheap Trick off of your realistic options. I think they are still getting bookings for some pretty good gigs.

BTW, I saw Huey Lewis & The News at the peak of their success in the 80s and nearly fell asleep.

I think Disney does a pretty good job booking acts for Epcot. A lot these 70s &
80s acts command some pretty big bucks--usually by casinos. :)

Bring back the Beach Boys!

Interesting side note: one of the local radio stations here in Orlando hosts a "downtown concert series" several times a year. It's a free concert at an outdoor venue. Pat Benetar has played there, as well as Cheap Trick. If they're willing to do free concerts, Epcot probably isn't too far out of reach.

I've seen Pat Benatar at Busch Gardens and she's doing Universal Mardi Gras I believe at the end of the month.Down here in South Florida there's also a free concert in Weston March 30th with Starship and Christopher Cross, which I think will make like 14-15 times I've seen Starship with Mickey Thomas.

That's great that you got to see them at Epcot. They played in an arena at a casino about an hour away from me and they sold out quickly. Haven't seen them in about 30 years...really aging myself lol!

I would love to see Hanson again. Hoping they come back again this year during our time frame since they have played there the past few years :)

Does Sister Hazel pretty much play every year? I know they're Florida based, so it seems appropriate. I go on their cruise every year and the boys can rock!! :cool1:
