Parks very quiet this holiday weekend.

Been to Disney many times and have never seen the parks so empty.

Great for us, very small lines in the morning. Easy to get walk up reservations for dining.

Had lunch today at the Grand Floridian cafe, half full.

Cast members seem really surprised that more people did not turn up for the holiday weekend.

It was pretty busy last week, Friday at mk was nuts after the rain. Glad you had better luck.

We have found the parks fairly crowded. With that said dining is wide open except for Ohana and Chef Mickey, you can even get lunch and dinner at Le Cellier.

The lack of free dinning I think has driven down the overcrowding and increased the ADR availability.

Managed to avoid the rain this weekend... MK Park filled up for the fireworks ....which were wonderful.

Have to agree about MK on the 3rd. We were lucky enough to score desert party tickets 4 hours before the fireworks, but boy was the park crowded. At 1 am there was a 30+ min wait for space mountain, 30+ min wait for Peter Pan etc...

Surprised to read this. We did July 4 about 5 years ago and the parks were crazy jammed.

DLR was pretty empty this weekend also.

We were at MK on Saturday the 2nd and we felt crowds were much lower than we had expected. We also got right in to The Plaza with no ADR.

About 2 years ago i went to the parks on july 4 and all parks closed to capacity.

Maybe everybody came up here to the nyc area? Its been super duper busy here.

It could also be that they are now charging 2 arms, a leg AND another appendage of your choice for dining - especially buffets!!
