Parking at the parks

It has been a long time since we had a rental car while staying on-site. If we decide to forgo the Disney busses and drive to the different parks, is there a hang tag or some sort of placard that identifies you as a resort guest so you don't have to pay parking charges? Also, are there sections for resort guests to park or just wherever you end up? Thanks in advance!

When you check into your hotel, you will get a parking pass to put on your dash (if they don't ask, just let them know you have a vehicle). That's all you need to park at the parks without having to pay the fee. You will park just like a normal paying guest; there is no special or designated area.

We have gone to a park before checking in and told the parking attendant we were staying at a resort. We showed her the hotel confirmation, no problem.
