We will be in Disney for 9 nights and that means I have a lot of places to pick out for eating. I have been doing so much research and it is making my head spin :headache: I have 7 people to make ressies for and it's up to me to look at the menu's and try to please everyone. My DH is ready to lock me in the attic :rotfl2:! I don't think he can take me anymore. Is anyone else overwhelmed with were to eat and what time you should make your ressie for. I think it would make me feel a lil better knowing im not the only one stressing :rotfl::rotfl:

I can't make my ressies until the first week of June! but it seems to be a lot of planning to put off til the last minute.

Don't worry, you'll get through it with help from all these great people on the boards!

That's most of the fun for me (almost more than eating it :rotfl2:). Look at some food porn, read the menus on allears.net and have fun.

Don't sweat it. If no one else in your party won't help you just pick what you would like. You have plenty of time before you can make your ADRs. The menus might change by the time June comes around.

I get to book my ressies May 19 for our 9 nt. stay...and I am stressed too. I have my obvious choices, but I have a few I can't decide on, and dh is NO help at all...."wherever" he says! I'm having difficulty with the timing too. Seems like on our 2 previous trips it wasn't his hard. Maybe because we'll be there more nights this time. Not sure....but I am stressed!

We are staying 8 nights in June. My family very nicely told me to go ahead & plan what I want. Magical vacation we should do with pixie dust. I just don't want them to be not happy with what I choose. I booked 2 sit down meals. The rest I think I will play by ear. I know for sure I want to eat at Earl of Sandwich in DTD. Also, try to get to Beaches & Cream. We want to try the new picnic at Animal Kingdom also. Ok thats all I have for now. Good luck & do what you wish just sprinkle some pixie dust.

We go at the same time every year for 8 or 9 nights. We have our favorites of course, but the others we just kind of make a list & then hold a secret vote. If we both vote on the same place, that gets added as a for sure. Mostly, anything you decide on is good, so try not to get too stressed about it. I admit it helps that we kind of know whats going on where since we do it every year. But it's still exciting!

I had to do this for our party of 12 2 years ago. And I always have to do it for my family of 4. Tell everyone if they have a restaurant they really want to go to that they have to let you know NOW. Then you can work in everyones requests if there are any. If there are no requests then that means that they will follow you and be satisfied with your choices.

I usually have no trouble for the first few days, as I know what parks we will be going to etc. and book close to where we will be, or in the park. Towards the end of the trip I am never sure where we will be, cause it will depend on if we missed some attractions earlier, or if the kids have new favourites. For those days I usually book dinners at Epcot (if we have hoppers), or at a resort if we do not have hoppers. I chose Epcot cause they have the most TS choices that my family likes, and it is easy to get to from MK or HS, or just about anywhere actually.

So, what is your list of must dos? Maybe we can help fill in the rest.

for 11 nights :scared1:... Believe it or not, we will do all TS, and I have too many places we'd like to eat at. Since we added an extra night, we will have 3 extra TS credits each, and since our plane lands at 6pm, we couldn't possibly use them all that day. Wish the Sept hours would come out now, because then I'd be able to complete our planning. Thinking of doing the Aloha show for the first time, but the reviews are scary!

I would suggest going out and buying the unoffical guide to walt disney world. There is a whole section dedicated to meals all over the world and outside of the world. It also goes into detailed explantion of ADRs. Disney has changed the way they do adrs. It has become a ablsolute must if you plan on eating a ts meal during peak hours and they are a absolute must during peak times of the year. We used dreams unlimited this year and gave our agent the places we wanted to eat and they made all of our adrs for us. Just picking out the places to eat is very daunting let alone getting on the phone and setting them up yourself. I spent a whole day just reading and picking resturants out of the unoffical guide. Then gave a list to our ta and she sent me a list of the times and days we changed this about 3 times until we got what we wanted. If I had to do all of it myself might have snapped. To wrap up do not just think you will be able to walk up and get right in to your resturant as DISNEY now filles every table with a adr and leaves very little room for walk ups.
