Outside Vendors/Minimums?

This is probably going to sound like the most ridiculous question, but I was wondering if payment of services to outside vendors goes toward your minimum? I'm figuring probably not, and if not, does the Disney "charge" for using outside vendors go toward your minimum? I don't think I've read anything about it but I've been known to miss some details. Thanx in advance.

I know the cost of outside vendors does not go towards your minimum, but I don't know about the charge for using them. Good question! Sorry I can't help.

outside vendors do not count towards your minimum. the only time i have heard of an outside vendor fee was here & my em has yet to mention a fee & theres no outside vendor fee listed on my contract. i know the outside vendor fee has actually been charged inconsistently to custom brides too.

There is no outside Vendor fee as such. The only time you will get a fee for using an outside vendor is if you hire an outside DJ/Band. Disney will then charge for the set up of lights/dancefloor etc.

Thanks everyone. Come to think of it, one of the only times I heard of a vendor fee was here too; not on the website and such. It's a little disconcerting, though, to have to meet a 10k minimum and then add on outside services that do not count such as hair and if I decide to go with an outside floral service. But I wouldn't want to be married anywhere else, so I suppose it's what I have to do.

While there isn't an outside vendor fee, there is a fee for an escort for the outside vendor (photo/video) if your wedding is in park. This has been inconsistant though. This fee should count towards you minimum.
