Outside vendor cotton candy machine

We became interested in having a company that sends two employees to serve cotton candy whipped up in a small machine at the reception. We think it would be pretty cool instead of the usual candy buffet!

Does anyone have any experience with outside food or anything like this? Not sure if this is generally allowed.

Unfortunately Disney doesn't allow you to use outside vendors for any kind of food. They could probably get you their own cotton candy machine if you wanted one though.
