My PTR is here. It will also have PTR for a January 2014 trip and even beyond because I'm tired of writing different PTRs, so I hope they'll let that happen.
Although the sheer number of times we've been to Orlando isn't that many (relatively speaking), we're feeling a bit funny about traveling cross-country so often. So I've decided the trips need reasons. Thankfully I've taken up running. Doing different official runs gives you good excuses for traveling!
Last April I signed up for the Tower of Terror 10-Miler, and we created a trip around it. My PTR is a boring account (oh I know how to sell it, don't I?) of training, fainting, figuring out how to eat and drink properly to make sure I didn't faint again, etc etc. Weight loss. Strength training. Foot pain, new shoes, new inserts for the shoes. Oh, and the places where we would eat. Gotta get to the important things!
So now that trip is done, and I find myself compelled to write a bit about it. What I will write I'm not sure. Jet lag, insufficient (despite all of my training!) hydration and nutrition before/during the race, the kid getting a nasty little cold, and more exhaustion combined together to make my sketchy memory even sketchier. I do have pictures, though.
I'm trying to work on making indices for my reports. Keep me honest!
October 4: A, B, C, D,
October 5: POR room 9606, stuff in the room, the morning and what we ate, too-short nap and nerves!...my long race report with some sweaty or blurry pictures!
October 6: a meal and a ride, tea, beer, and pool-time
October 7: breakfast at The Wave
October 8:
October 9, 10, 11, 12 Universal report will be here:
October 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 _______ report will be
wait, what? we were going HOME on the 13th....hmm....
