Hi,
Sorry for the off topic post, but does anyone know how accessible the various Niagara Falls attractions are? Thank you.

Maid of the Mist I don't think is very accessible if at all, but that might have recently changed. Neither of the "Cave tours" (one on each side of the border) are completely accessible--in fact as I think about it, the one on the US side is utterly inaccessible.

All and all it's not a terribly accessible area.

We have gone to Maid of the Mist :boat: on both sides and they were wheelchair accessible. We went to a lot of the attractions on the Canadian side and the wheelchair was no problem (especially the casinos :thumbsup2 )

The Maid of the Mist boats are completly accessible on both the American & Canadian sides of the falls.

Here is a good site with lots of links to Canadian attractions and accessibility info:

I highly recommend the Canadian side of the falls, honestly! Although I'm from NY, the "other" side has a lot of great attractions to visit and things to see. The Butterfly Conservatory is a "don't miss" for our family is practically all accessible except for one small area, but it doesn't detract from the experience at all.

The Niagara Falls Aviary is also cool, the White Water Walk is a long boardwalk area that gets you down into the gorge and is fine but a long way (about 2 miles I think) of rolling.

HTH!

We were there a few years ago and the only attraction that I remember not being accessible was "Journey Behind the Falls."

welovedis - That's looks like a very useful website-thanks!
Thank you all for your replies. :goodvibes
I appreciate them!!
