Yep. There are likely regular 7As left, just not the secret verandah ones. My TA said she's never seen it go quite this crazy. Apparently, on one Alaska cruise she called on (I don't know which sailing), there were no 11B rooms left at all. I find it hard to fathom!

That's what I thought too... to me best deal is Aug 19th, but not a big difference at all. I had a feeling that adding Icy Strait to Aug 26th would raise the price for the very last week in August.

Question for you, please: since we are first time cruisers, would I add 10% to the cost bc we don't have the onboard booking discount? Would that arrive at the number I should expect? It's more expensive then I thought... I just started to consider a separate room for our teen kids, but as it's our first cruise, not sure... We have 3 boys (17, 14, 14). Hmmm.

The Fantasy seems to have the fewest bookings reported so far. Are the Caribbean itineraries not as sought after?

I noticed this too, but will also just hope this means it doesn't drive prices up too, too much.

Story of my life, although for our cruise we may have my brother and oldest (will be 19 then) share an inside cabin, but that depends on how much my parents want to spend.

These summer cruise prices have me like

They're killing me! But my mom wants to travel around their actual anniversary, and after 50 years together I think they've earned that! If we are to cruise Disney again after this we'll likely look for military rates and cruise last minute. (I saw this, but...)

You'd add at least 10 percent. My rates were booked first thing this morning when Gold level bookings opened. As a newbie, you can't book until Thursday. Sadly, prices have already gone up since this morning and will likely continue to do so. I looked at booking one verandah room and an inside across the hall for the kids. It dropped the rate by about a grand. Good luck!

Have you done separate rooms for your kids before? How did it work out? I can imagine pluses & minuses both ways. Ideally I prefer us being together, but the price is so high that it'd be nice to bring it down a bit.
