** OPENING DAY PRICING 2019 Pt 1 January-May: Magic, Wonder, Dream, Fantasy **

Do you have the per person cost breakout for the 5/5 cruise?

Thank you!

I did not get the breakdown for the 5/5 as we did NOT book it. I was only given the grand total. The wait was close to 2 hours and I just couldn't wait to finalize the damn thing lol hahahah

Looks like most of the early bookings at this point are on the Wonder.

4/20/19 Fantasy Eastern Caribbean. 2 adults.
$5,023.94 Placeholder, 5D, Deck 6 aft, no insurance, no transfer

Yes, I got our favorite one on deck 7 -- but these prices are NOT attractive at all and really surprised me:

Wonder
2/24/2019 - Panama Canal
2A -- $5,923.14 (deposit due is $1,019.20)
Stateroom Cat 7A -- no insurance or transfers.

Are Panama Canal cruises usually this expensive? I'm having a bit of sticker shock.

What is the cash card?

You get a Costco cash card (gift card) when you book through them. For example, my cruise cost was $2,900, and my Costco cash card will be $215. Lots of threads of the Dis about Costco - don't want to go too off topic here. Nice savings!

For mine on the Magic...you have this.

January 6th, 2019 - 5-Night Western Caribbean Cruise from Miami [George Town, GC & Castaway Cay]
7A 2A $2,785 no ins/trans yes ins

It does include insurance
It does include OBC

I need to go look too... I had considered booking it in case our grand visions for going to Africa in 2019 don't pan out but it *feels* higher? Someone had mentioned the new locks are much more expensive so that might be part of it.

Added up to here!

We did WBPC in 2013. 2A, 2K in a 5B. It was $8076. And it was 15 days. I'm not thrilled with the pricing today. Just holding it in case we want to go. I am also considering New Zealand on RCI instead (which we do sometimes, because I can't keep going to the same places!)

There aren't too many direct comparisons yet from 2018. However it looks like 10a is $600 per adult more. I guess that's pretty average for DCL. I had hoped for the cruise portion of this trip to come in under $5000, but I doubt it happens.
