** OPENING DAY PRICING 2015 Pt 2 April - August: Magic, Wonder, Dream, Fantasy **

10th July 15 - 12 night N Europe

9C 2A1K [10] $7904.16 with OBB no trns/ins

Sorry, don't have breakdown yet. Booked opening day, gold cc

Yep. I noticed you could sail Alaska this summer for about the same price as next and this year's prices have already gone up a lot! Crazy.

I really want to try DCL Alaska at some point but not sure we ever will. :confused3 On a bright note, the summer 2015 caribbean cruises are making my April one on the magic look like a steal. :lmao: (Originally I felt it was too much!)

Yes my husband wants to do an Alaska trip one day as well. That will be a few years down the road...I've promised it for his 50th birthday.

Funny I wanted to book an April 2015/Easter week trip myself but I scoffed at those prices as well. I was looking at the 5-night and then I heard the pricing and thought no way! Now I'm looking at those summer 3 and 4 nights and thinking I could have done Easter week after all! :)

Moved a dummy res today on the Dream to a 4 night on 8/3/15.
Cat 7A - 3A for $3,601 with 10% OBB discount. No transfers or insurance.

Note that I had previously parked this cruise on 8/11/13 in a 7A for 2A, 1K for a total of $3,044. Then I moved it last year to a 4 night on 8/17/14 (a little later in the month so cheaper) for only $2,783. Still in a Cat 7A. Long story why our plans changed yet again. Anyway, going earlier in August again this next time represented an approx. 18% price increase over the orig. 2013 price.:scared1: This will be the last time we can move it. Our next cruise will likely be on RCCL but DS wanted one last DCL before we jump ship.:rolleyes1

We just booked the exact same cruise (dates, category, kids, OBB discount) for $6908.28 Costco travel told me that the price didn't include gratuities. But the price I saw for the same trip online through DCL directly would have been exactly the difference of tips for 4 people: $336. Maybe just a coincidence and I did my math wrong, or maybe she didn't know what she was talking about which I have found is sometimes the case with Costco Travel agents. Took 2 hours and 3 minutes total between holding to talk to an agent originally and then the agent holding for DCL. The good news is we booked our dummy cruise the day they changed the 18 month rebook policy and they still honored it for this one which is technically 19 months later.

Interesting. The fine print on the Costco contract says it does not include gratuities. I wish is thought to check yesterday - oh. Wait, I couldn't do it online yesterday. Hmmm.

I think I'm doing this correctly :confused3

Still waiting on my TA to provide me my info. I'm a Silver. Should I be worried? First time booking opening day.

To Silstone, I wouldn't worry. Good TA's want to secure the reservations their clients want first, then they get around to sending the emails, which are not as time sensitive. I logged onto the Castaway Club part of the DCL website and clicked on my cruises and saw my bookings :goodvibes hours ago but only just got the email letting me know the prices ;)

So On Silver Booking Opening Day

2 Adults / Category 11B / No OBB / No Insurance

Dream August 28 3 night : 1,187.52 total price, so 593.76 pp I guess

Dream August 31 4 night: 1,541.52 total, so 770.76 per person
