It is when a company or person books the entire boat. Even if there are open staterooms they can not be booked.

Just under an hour wait time through Costco travel. Used OBB June 27, Fantasy Western. Category 8a, travel party 2adults, 1teen $6165.36 (includes 10% discount, taxes, and gratuities) Will receive $500 Costco card after cruise

From my TA: "Just a quick note to confirm, that at this time, the cruise is still open for booking and there are no rumors of any charters, according to Guest Services, and the manager at Disney Cruise Line." Sent to me at 12:05pm PST/3:05pm EST.

Sounds like someone else's TA confused the 5/25/15 Alaska charter with the 5/20/15 repo and it snowballed from there.

Can anyone confirm that the 5/25 Alaskan is in fact chartered? I was hoping to do the 5/20 SD to Vancouver and then 5/25 Alaskan. My TA (Small World) said it looked like the 5/25 may be unavailable. As i haven't seen any pricing on that one yet, I guess she was right.

Bummer, cant afford to do the 5/20 repo and then hang there till 6/1 for the "first" Alaskan.

In writing, your TA confirms "there are no rumors of any charters " (my emphasis). This would include the 5/25/15 sailing as well then. Did you read it as confirming a charter?

Family of four doing b2b in two staterooms (our daughter is an adult), late dining. No discounts or transfers (we sailed on the Fantasy last week, and although we are platinum, DH "didn't see the point" of OBB because we already have two more trips planned in 2014 )

I feel your pain! We were on Magic last week, and I also didn't see the point, since we have a cruise on the Fantasy in June! What was I thinking?? We are on the June 6 with you as the first leg of our B2B. If prices don't change much it may be worth it to cancel and rebook while we're on Fantasy in June. Everytime I don't book a cruise onboard I kick myself!
