Hi. I am seasoned cruiser. I know I should book a flight out of MCO beginning approximately noon so I understand all the reasons of why I shouldnt book earlier and what could happen.

That being said, for those that docked in Port Canaveral and had early walk off and wanted to get off ship as early as they could what time were you in a car?

I want to be off the ship early as possible and sailing concierge if that helps. We will wheel off our own luggage.

Leaving out of MCO.

Thank you.

As I said in a thread last week, I was off the ship by 7:10, on a Disney bus that took off at 7:30 & at MCO around 8:15. That was 2 weeks ago on Easter Sunday.

Thanks. Usually on dis during the day but have been so busy at work this week. There is a Disney bus that early? What time was your flight. Its just the two of us and was going to take car service but if there is a Disney bus waiting to leave that early I would be all over it.

Thank you.

I wasn't concierge. Went down stairs, gave my luggage to a porter, who took me thru customs & put it in the bus, & was golden. My flight was 10:33 exactly & I was there earlier than I would have liked. When the bus driver took off & said it was a 45 minute drive, I doubted him, but that's how long it was. Can't believe how simple it was after being told how crazy a 10:30ish flight was. Perhaps things don't always go so smoothly, but I'd do it again.

Thank you so much for this information. What time were you able to begin walking off? Thank you for taking the time to help me. Did you stress about it during your trip? Worse case I guess we miss the flight and get on next one?

Not sure if it works for Magic and Wonder, but with the others the concierges have been doing a service where they walk people off and you basically cut the line. I am NOT sure it starts as early as possible. You'll have to find out from them when you're there.

There's no way to tell you exactly when *your* sailing will start disembarkation, because anything could happen. And as soon as a bus fills after disembarkation starts, the bus will leave.

There might not be seats on the next flight, so that's worse than your worst case.

Thank you.
I sail NCL Haven and the Haven does cut the line and are escorted out although we aren't actually passing people in line, but there is a door we walk out that is right
by the gangway.

Has anyone else that has done early walk off give me some information?
Thank you.

I was concierge and they will get you off early, but I did express walk off even earlier than the meet up time for concierge. Caught the first bus to the airport and arrived around 8:30. I kinda followed DCL advice as my flight wasn't until 11:20, so sitting around for hours sucked. Next time I would book an earlier flight and take my chances.

Last month on the Fantasy we were in our car on our way from the Port parking garage at 7:50.

We've always done express walk off, we haven't sailed concierge yet(that's our next cruise). We were off the ship and through customs by 7:20, they loaded us into a van and we were at WDW about an hour later.

Barring any delays in docking or with CBP, they normally start letting you disembark at roughly 7:30. If you are at the head of the line and didn't leave your bags out the night before, you can be out of terminal 15-20 minutes after you step off the ship. The ride to MCO is 45 minutes to an hour, but if there is a traffic snafu, that could really delay you. If all goes well, you could be at MCO by 9am.

We got off the ship just prior to or at 8am I believe (could've gotten off earlier but we were busy rechecking things and stopped to say goodbye to our stateroom host) , and were pulling in at WDW AOA to checkin by 9:30am.

I had an 11:20 am flight.
It was moved yesterday to 11:00 am.
I am torn if I should keep it or not or move to 12:30 pm but not a fan either of sitting around and will have
a car take us since I won't wait for the Disney bus to fill up.
I think I am going to keep at 11 am.

I was on hold with United for a lifetime and after I posted decided I'm going for it.
I won't have my dh or kids (although one is 21 and 17) and just my mom and I getting off.
I'll make sure we are in the front of the very first walk offs.

So, let me ask you, will they let car service into the Port at 7:30 am/8 am for pick ups? Or does everyone come/go at 10ish?

Thank you very much!

They let people in for pickup because they know the ships start disembarkation early. The "get off the ship" time is 9, so if they didn't let people in until 10 to pickup that would be way too late.

IF your ship has the concierges walk people off that early, you will bypass the line. They take you down in the elevator (your own elevator) and you walk to a very specific spot that is right at the door, and they open the velvet rope and you go in front of the others in line.

We believe in the early express walk off! We try to time our arrival in the atrium about 15 minutes before early debark starts. So much easier to just walk off, walk thru customs, no lines. We've been pulling out of the garage before 8:00 several times. Just watch the debark info. Whenever they say early express starts, be ready about 15 mins early. Often they clear the ship a little early. :)

Thank you all! Im going for it!

I was on the bus by 7:10-7:15 without any benefit of concierge. They said early walk off was at 7 & to meet in the Atrium. I got there at 6:50 & was about 40th in line. Once down the escalator I got a porter, who whisked me past those people who were in front of me & right to a waiting customs agent. The bus that I got on was empty & we waited 15 minutes for it to fill, but again it was a breeze getting to the airport around 8:15.
I had told the driver my flight was early & there was somebody getting on the bus at the airport to give us some sort of Disney talk, but the driver let him know I had to get off, grabbed my bags out of the bus, & set me off on my way. It was really easy & I felt foolish that I had worried about my 10:30ish flight. I think I was the 1st passenger at the gate for my flight. I'd definitely do it again, but might take my time & enjoy an early breakfast next time.
