When do they charge your account? Do they put a "hold" on it at the beginning? Like I know some hotels "hold" $300-$500 at the beginning o your stay.

They don't put a hold on a credit card or debit card. When they charge depends on how long the cruise is. With a 7 day or longer, I believe when your account hits $400, they process through a charge. If the cruise is shorter, I believe $200 is when they process a charge.
