OKW at 7mts??

Jsut curious. We could not get into BWV for Nov 7-11 2001, and that is our home resort. We called last week and all of the studios are already taken.
(I guess we didn't call early enough, usually we call right at 11 months)What are our chances of getting into OKW or BWV at the seven month window? What have your experiences been with this time of year? nay help would be appreciated. (We already have a back up Disney hotel with ressies until we call at the 7month window) We are already on the waiting list for BWV. Studios always seem to go quickly! Did you try for a 1 bedroom unit? (don't know your point availability!) If you call right at the 7 month window you should be OK with OKW..no guarantees! I would call day be day until your reservation is complete. Call MS and ask what the availablity is today at OKW. People are always changing their vacations plans, the BWV wait list may come through for you too. We have great luck with the wait lists. Good luck!

Did you ask about the waitlist for a studio at Boardwalk? It is worth a try.

Availability can depend on the time of year you are planning your visit to WDW. I just got a week end reservation this past month for the first week end in March without a problem. You may also ask to be on a wait list. Kepp calling, you can usually get something with a little perserverance.

Thanks everyone, I should have wrote that I was calling for OKW and VWL (not BWV) at the 7 month window. Does anyone know if we have a chance to get in there at the 7 month window??

I would say that your chances of getting OKW are excellent. It has the most rooms. VWL might be available, depending on how many units would be available on "points", I hear that they are selling pretty good, so who knows? BWV waitlist has a come through for us all but one time! ( We book all our rooms at the 11 month window, we own mostly in BWV but also have some in OKW and usually switch the OKW rooms over to BWV rooms at 7 months.) We travel in Oct or Nov. ,Feb break and April. Of course we book GV's and 2bdrms so I don't know if that would make a difference.
