ok just asked about weight allowance

what would you reccommend i put my wedding dress in ? and should i put it as carry on luggage or luggage to go in the hold ?

If you can I would suggest carry-on as then you know where it is at all times.

It depends how large it is. If it will fit in the carry on luggage allowance then that is the best bet. When I took my weding dress we rang the airline to check if they would accept it as hand luggage.

The best thing to do is know in advance, the last thing you want is the airline telling you at checkin that it must go in the hold and you not having a suitable carrier.

I rolled mine up and popped it into a soft duffel bag and took it on as hand luggage.
It was within the size limits for hand luggage so we were ok.

I then got my wedding dress steamed when i was out there which took out any creases.
