OK I am finally back and here to help

I have been off for so long that I almost forgot what was what - I was able to post a few times during all the trials and tribulations but we survived all the impact experienced.
anyhow now to business
Are there any questions etc on my hometown of Key West?
I do have all the pamplets and information about Key West for those that are interested. You can drop me a note at snelsonbrown@aol.com and I will be more than happy to share - the only string attached is you are responsible to get the envelope to me with it self addressed and postage attached - I don't even keep one stamp - I get it right back to you.

Second if you have any questions about Brevard County - you know Cape Canaveral, Cocoa Beach, Merritt Island, even Orlando - I have information on that also -

Hope all is getting excited about their cruise - wish I could be more help to those going on the Eastern - maybe someday.

We rebooked for the August 21st, 2004, Magic (new) Eastern Caribbean cruise. Andy and family also have reservations for that sailing. Question: why don't you and Norm make reservations and join our Dis group for YOUR first cruise...

We finally made it to the Kino sandal store...the sandals are as great as everyone said...we got several pairs for ourselves and for gifts...lol.

I wish I knew of an inexpensive place here on the beach - ever since the "BOOM" of property explosion - everyone feels they have to charge like they will never get another customer back - I know I know - everything is going out of sight in cost for everything - anyhow the only one I know for less than $50.00 is Motel 6 - they aren't bad to tell you the truth and ALMOST on the beach - it is a walk away -

Those going on the Western AFTER November - Norm and I are going "home" and will bring back some newer information about Key West - as for going on a cruise I am ready if Norm will keep himself healty long enough - I have threated to throw him off our patio if he doesn't stay well now for a very long time - he promised to do so -------so we may surprise you ---

Tip for you. Best BBQ is at Shivers on US 1 heading towards Homestead. Just above 280th St

OK Lisa now I am really really going to get jealous cause you will be getting the tropical fruits that I am been hankering for - when Norm is up, I will drop you a note as to where it is - I didn't know about it until he took me there - I know it seems like it is in the middle of nowhere - but who cares cause all that yummy fruits I grew up with are all around me

Hey there Lisa -
Norm was asking to where you lived in order to give better directions to all the latin fruit stands, but he did offer these directions.
You turn off West on to Pines Blvd until you get to RT 27 - and then head South when you get to Rt 954 to homestead - you will run into Crome Avenue - after you pass 41, you will see the Indian gambling casino - you will have to go about 5 to 7 miles and then you will see numberous of latin stores - I believe most of them do speak English - write me a note at snelsonbrown@aol.com and maybe I can get a map drawn for you which will make it easier ok.

Could you please either drop by or call the manager of the Quality Suites? On their web site (www.qualitysuitescocoabeach-portcanaveral.com) they have this prominant claim:

All suites come with a free breakfast buffet and free shuttle/parking service to the Port Canaveral Cruise Ships.

But when a DISer called recently to make a reservation, the person taking the call said they <b><i>don't</i></b> offer this.

Hi dave,
I have made a copy of the offer and instead of calling, Norm and I will go over there tomorrow and check it out as if it is a false comeon - I know that I called there something this year and asked about shuttle service etc, and I was informed that adding a shuttle was not only very expensive, but time consuming - of course I called and didn't pop in to see with whom I was speaking to - will post tomorrow after I speak with them and I will find out the whole truth ok.
Thanks everybody for the Birthday wishes - it was very much a surprise that somehow it got out for I did try to keep it very quiet - I am waiting for the BIG 70 and that I do intend to make it the best yet - this time too, it won't be like my 13th when Norm drove my mama nuts enought to call my party off by announcing to all my friends "ok ok the party she is over - Norman Hicks GO HOME" it wasn't funny then but it is so funny now - he still doesn't remember what all he did to drive my mom over the edge of sanity ----anyhow goodnight everybody and know I care.
