I though I read somewhere that said that dtd was open tell midnight or 1 am, I could be wrong since I cant find where i read that.

Yea, the tests will be done. I have one this Thursday, one Friday, and one next Monday. I do have a project due the day after we get back, but it is a 3 person group project and my team mates are cool with me being gone as long as I pull my weight before I leave and can email them as needed. Otherwise, school gets to be left at home luckily!

2 days until online check in. We have no requests so I am going to go ahead and do it.

well that is great! at least you won't have to worry about too much on vacay! I have our biggest trades how of the year the week I am gone, plus a special casino reception we are hosting at the show. I totally didn't look at the show calendar when making my vacation plans. DOH! so trying to wrap up a lot of prep before i leave! I was hoping my coworker would be able to attend, but she ended up going out on medical leave. oh well- i'll just hope all goes well while i am gone!

I checked weather.com 2 days ago and there was only 1 bad day, your post made me go check again and now there are like 5 bad days??????

You know what, It is all good. My DH deserves this trip after all of the health issues he had last year we are going to have nice weather and a GREAT TIME. I can handle a short shower every one in a while, it will just give me a reason to shop. Then the parks will be ALL MINE (almost) b\c most people will leave when it starts. I however - do not melt and I will keep on going. You know, if it happens while we are in Epcot, I can just run over to my husbands place: Journey Into Imagination With Figment: and we will hang out with him. That will not hurt my feelings at all to spend more time with Figment.

That's the attitude. I see the weather for my week has turned to rain too (well the few days they are showing, the rest isn't available yet). I think it could definitely change. I am going to pack our raincoats and just hope it doesn't rain too hard! We usually stay in the parks and keep going. Plenty of indoor activities you can do, plus the parks empty out completely and when the sun comes back out, you are all alone!

We are getting so close and I am more obsessed than ever! I know I've posted our schedule before, but I have made some adjustments so you are getting it again!
10/15 – Arrival Day! Afternoon and evening at HS – dinner at 50’s Prime Time
10/16 – AK – going to try for RD – dinner at O’hana’s
10/17 – Epcot – ride and eat as much as we can!
10/18 – Morning pool/resort time – MK around 2 pm – dinner at CP @4:45 – MNSSHP!
10/19 – WWHP @ IOA – DTD or resort after IOA
10/20 – Whatever we want in the AM – HS for EMH in the PM
10/21 – 1900 Park Faire @ 9:05 – MK – Epcot for EMH
10/22 – departure day. ME around 3 pm, so will have morning for whatever the family wants.

We'll be at POFQ, as I know several folks here will be! I will have my LGMH buttons on my back pack or whatever I will be carrying each day. I know we will be at the pool multiple times - my two are water dogs!

the common areas are open 8am-1am. But the stores themselves I think typically open at 9:30-10am and close by 11pm.

Just wanted to check and make sure this is a typo and not a planning error. There is no EMH at Epcot on Friday, Oct 21.

The only EMH that day is morning EMH at AK. Epcot's EMH are on Tues and Wed.

Well, so much for getting any fun mail. USPS has apparently lost my tickets.

After realizing that the tracking number shows they were delivered more than a week ago, I called UT. They suggested that I go to the post office. Apparently the delivery people sometimes scan the package as delivered when they are loading the truck, which they're not supposed to do. So, since i'm home today anyway, I trekked over to the Post Office. The woman at the counter confirmed that he scanned it in when he loaded the truck, based on the time. But she searched pretty thoroughly and it's not in the post office. So it's either in his truck or got delivered to a neighbor. Who knows.

So UT emailed me a copy of the tickets, and now we'll have to get them reissued at Guest Relations. I know, it's not a huge deal. But really, I didn't need this.

I am now Mrs. Lindsay...not Ms. Ellis (I haven't changed my name yet but we are married so it counts)! Yay! I'm married! Tomorrow we will hop onto a plane to WDW for our disneymoon! I'm taking my new Disney hubby to Disney World because he has never been.

oh no- i saw all of your drama. hopefuly now that they are bringing their friend (for the free ride), they will stay out of your business. you know, i am really most excited about this trip because it is just the three of us! LOL! i love my family to death and they don't even cause drama, but it is just nice to go on your own too. here's hoping you still have a good trip or they end up cancelling!!!!

Same here. It'll be just me, DH and DD(3) on this trip and we're really looking forward to having a "Disney through the eyes of a 3yo" trip. The down time during the day will be good for all of us, too! Hopefully we won't come back from vacation just as exhausted as the day we left!

Well, I guess i'll be able to catch up on some packing today, as i'm home "sick" with DS. He had a bout of insomnia last night, woke at 1:00am and never went back to sleep. It doesn't happen often, but when it does it's rough.

I'm really worried because he had a bout during our long trip in Jan/Feb. Not fun. I'm particularly worried because he always has trouble falling asleep when someone else is in the room. Normally when we travel we always book a suite, but on this year's budget that wasn't an option. He had been sleeping well so I went ahead and booked a regular room. Now i'm really nervous that he won't sleep with me (or worse, the sitter) in the room. We aren't planning naps but we're trying to keep his sleeping hours reasonable so that we can do MNSSHP on our last night. Now i'm stressed.

How about a bed tent? You know, one of those things you can put on the bed that will give him the feeling of having a space all to himself? I don't know if it's the extra noise or the surroundings that bother him more, but maybe that will help?

We got our Mickey Mail on Saturday. It feels so good to have it in our hands now! 20 days!

I've had a busy day today and had a busy weekend and every weekend from now on is going to be busy so I have no idea when I'm going to get my practice pack in. I need to do it, though, because I need to see how things fit and what I still need! I can't be carrying an overweight suitcase through the airport, but then I can't carry 3 suitcases and a 3yo and a stroller and a car seat either! Maybe I'll do it tomorrow during the Phillies game and have the game on upstairs as I'm going. Then again, I was watching the game in the background last night and, well, we all know what happened.

I used to have a car seat bag like this.

The wheels are handy and I once pulled DS through the airport in it. But what I found the most useful was the backpack straps. You flip the carseat upside down and it fits pretty easily on your back, leaving your hands free for other things.

Three days ago it showed no rain for that week. And a few days before that it showed rain for all of this week, which then went away.

We had the same shifts four our Jan trip and it only rained on our last evening. No worries.

I just checked the weather again for the next 10 days - RAIN and Thunderstorms for my whole trip so far.

A couple of things to remember - Rain in Fl usually only last a few minutes then it will stop, also they are forecast and days out. One more thing - you can always just pop into what ever entertainment you are close to and it could stop raining by the time you get done.

Our trip 7 years ago it rained for about 20 minutes everyday - but during that 20 minutes FLOCKS of people would leave to head back to their resort, so we would have the park to ourselves.

3 days till Disney
