There had better be toy soldiers!! I wonder if this was a change bc of the weather?
Hopefully. There were marching ones but no horns and drums. You could be right maybe they wanted to protect the instruments.

definitely Scrooge and Donald and daisy and Minnie. It’s one queue to meet all 4 of them.
Was that just due to the rain? It’s been a few years since we met Scrooge and Donald, but they definitely had their own queue then and it was soooooo loooooooong.

Get in line for Jack and Sally first.... they usually come out about 4:30. I’ve seen lines for them at 2pm before!

7D come out at 6:15 or 6:30. I would get in line here as soon as you’re finished seeing Jack and Sally. But the line is usually looooong!

And alternative would be to wait until later in the party for the lines to die down.

We always go to the first parade and go straight to fireworks afterward, then ride more rides. I’ve read that crowds for the second Parade are smaller.
Where do you watch the first parade and what time do you line up? Also, do you change location for the parade?

I was able to get a ADR for Skippers Cantina for Sunday November 24th at 630 pm and now I realize there is a party that night. We planned and actually have to leave right after dinner but will they let us have dinner and if not will I be charged the cancellation fee ??
When I made the reservation it was just through the normal app and I don’t have party tickets nor did it prompt me to buy them

That’s normal for some table service restaurants to have regular ADR times a little past park closing on a party night. As long as you didn’t book it through the MVCMP dining page (which upon further review you can’t anyway since Skipper isn’t open for MVMCP) and it was in fact the normal restaurant page as you note, you’re all good.

They will in all likelihood escort you to the front of the park after your meal since you’ll be done well into party time at that point.

Have fun! Love Skipper Canteen!

You’re fine, but expect to be escorted to the exit when you’re done eating. Those restaurants that are not open during the party offer later reservations for day guests, and they will absolutely be honored. Just make sure you are already in the park before the official 6 pm close.

We are going on my bday to Skipper Canteen, I booked a Jungle Cruise FP right before it for full immersion...never been there so we are excited to try it!

...Where are wristbands available prior to 7:00 - at all of the wristband locations? What’s the earliest wristbands will be handed out?

I am interested in this, as well. Anyone know? If we go at 2pm (DVC) through the MVMCP entrance, do they give you the wristband upon park entry? Or, do we go to one of the kiosks for in-park guests to get the wristband? In which case, how early do they start handing out at the wristband locations?

If you're inside the park the wristband distribution is at laugh floor in tomorrowland, philharmagic exit in fantasyland and pirates adventure in adventureland, distribution starts st 4pm.
For people coming into the park look for the dedicated party tapstiles, 2pm for dvc, 4pm for everyone else

Correct me if this has changed this year - but in my experience from last year cast members start popping up around 4ish at various points in the park in their costumes handing out wrist bands. We picked ours up by POTC I think - they just scanned our magic band and gave us our bands. Just make sure you head back to town sq to take the backstage route opened specially for the party to get your first cookie!

Thanks, yulinlin & hockeymad. I'm figuring they'll give us wristbands when we enter through the party-entrance tapstiles. This is great because then we should be able to do some party-merch shopping ahead (I think/hope).
Is anyone else obsessing about their want-to-do list during the party? I'm afraid I'll forget things and will probably take an actual list with me, lol. Some stuff will be easy to remember (parade, fireworks, etc.) but keeping track of some of the other stuff (specific treats to try, party SotMK card) -- there's a LOT I'm hoping to accomplish and this one party is starting to require more planning than the rest of my week-long trip!! :joker:

I usually make a list on my phone and check it through out the party so i don't miss what i want to do get do/get

This year at MNSSHP we were more disorganized since it was arrival
Day and we had been up since 4 am. I even made a list on my phone and thought about it once, and we still left without picking up our SOTMK cards. I was so annoyed with myself when I realized that a day or 2 later!!!

We also left after the fireworks because one son fell asleep at the table at the terrace dessert party, so we didn’t ride POTC or do many TOT or any special photos. Last year it all went like clockwork, this year we didn’t get nearly as much done. I blame a combo of fatigue (obviously b/c we left early), crowds (first party, long lines for pp, TOT, and rides with overlays), and just luck.

I got sidetracked. Moral is, make a list and take it, because you can forget things no matter how much you plan ahead!!

Our fave spot is in Frontierland. We sit right in front of Pecos Bills. Less crowded then Main Street and looooots of character interaction.

Yes I always take a list that includes: must do, do, maybe do for the party! Right now I’m trying to pair it down!
