Anyone with experience with us/ioa in october?, how are the crowds?, are halloween decorations up? or just for the hhn?, What is the weather like? Thanks, MKY

There really isn't that many decorations up through out the park for HHN. When you walk through the haunted houses they are deffinately decorated. The crounds can be heavy at times during Oct. You can never tell. I think that the beginning of HHN is light and then it pics up later in the season. The weather begins to get unpredictable at that time of the year. Normally it is around the upper 70's. But this is Florida.

We've been several times at the end of October. The weather has been everything from mid 60's -low 80's, mornings can be cool. But it always feels warmer in the parks. We always bring a fleece jacket for cool evenings. Crowds are always very low (we don't go on Saturdays). If you go through Universal during the day there are various decorations here and there, that they have up for the HHN's in the evening. We saw a fountain covered with a giant skull!:p

We have been to Disney in October quite a few times. The weather is awsome. The crowds are light. The humidity is low.
Except for a hurricane a few years ago the dumped rain for only one day of our trip, I would definately recommend October!
