We've been to WDW several times, but this will be the 1st for our daughter who will be 5 months old. We have a wedding in the area so we decided to stay a few extra days. Any tips? How is the weather in the beginning of October?

And as for the Magical express, do we need a carseat or can we hold her? We'll also need to take a cab to the wedding at a non Disney resort in Orlando, how does that work as far as the car seat?

Thanks!

We took our daughter when she was 6 months old. You do NOT need a carseat on the Magical Express. We actually took a carrier (snuggli/baby bjorn) and it was perfect. Kept her near and our hands free to grab our bags and stroller.

I'm sorry I can't answer the cab question.
