I’m so confused. I heard that Disney May be accepting 2021 bookings as of June 24th. I do not have an existing reservation. This will be a new one, our every other year trip. Can we book tomorrow? If so, am I also going to have to make reservations for the different parks already? I’m not really ready to do that, but I did want to lock in my dates, 10/12-10/23 most likely.

I believe 6/24 is for modifications to current 2021 bookings, possibly limited to changing room-only to packages by adding tickets (that's all the website indicates). New 2021 reservations will open on 6/28, however I'm not sure if that will be all of 2021 or just through 9/26/2021.

I don't believe you must do parks reservations when booking a package, but you should be able to view park availability at the time of purchasing tickets.. However, I was under the impression the parks reservation system currently only goes through 9/26/2021 - so again not sure if you can book beyond that on 6/28 or not.

They changed it to 6/24.

Thanks! That’s what I thought. I’m just unsure about the whole park reservations aspect. I just know that next year will be especially busy between the 50th anniversary and so many changing their trips to next year. I don’t usually book this early, but I thought I’d reserve the dates I want to be safe.

You will not be able to book for October yet.

I spoke with a Disney-specializing TA today that confirmed what several others had said--bookings will only be available through 9/26/21 tomorrow. Everything else will be out later. Of course, they could surprise everyone, but with so many confirming the same information, I think we'll all have to wait.

So October 2021 bookings are not happening yet? Honestly, if that’s the case, I’m fine. It gives me more time to plan.

Any rumors around whether or not new 2021 resort reservations will be bookable online tomorrow (or on 6/28) given the current phone insanity?

Supposed to be ready by 10am eastern time tomorrow. We will have to see for ourselves of course lol.

Bookings through 9/26/2021

Guys, I just read this comment in one of my Facebook groups, so take it for what you will. It was posted by a TA.

Just had a 2021 call with my BDM and he said 6/24 for all Disney owned hotels that are currently scheduled to be open. So, for example, All Stars have no current opening date for 2020, so they won’t be open yet for 2021. Also, Swan and Dolphin, Four Seasons, and Disney Springs area resorts open tomorrow. Good Neighbors open the 28th.

Just tried online for October. It says to change dates for anything past September. So I’m happy to wait for my dates to open.
