What is the bounce back program?

People who were staying in a WDW resort back in Nov or Dec were able to book a pkg for early Aug-late Sept that included free dining. We had to pay rack rate for the room, buy at least a one day MYW park ticket, and pay a $200.00 deposit, but we received guaranteed free dining for the length of our trip. We were told at that time that the only free dining that was going to be offered for 2007 was through the Bounce Back Program. Quite a few people made a special trip down there just to book the free dining offer. It had to be purchased before you checked out and they checked that you were staying at a WDW resort. The dates the bounce back free dining are earlier than the dates for the UK free dining and the general public free dining and the check out dates are also later (Sept 29th).

I'm checking in Sept 29th, but will have free dining throughout my trip. I'm hoping that enough people moved their trips back to take advantage of the general public free dining offer that the crowds will be minimal. My mom was supposed to go with me, but had to cancel. I have to say I sure hated to call to cancel her and give up those free dining credits. If I had known I was going solo I might not have done the free dining this time.

My DH & I will be at the BWI 10/23-10/30, celebrating our anniversary on the 27th at the Party for the Senses! It seems like almost everyone is going earlier in the month...so far I haven't seen any meets for the end of October. Maybe that means lighter crowds, though...or did I miss the "you DEFINITELY shouldn't go at the end of October" thread?

My wife and I are going to be at Wilderness Lodge Villas from Oct. 4th thru the 19th. We are DVC members since 96. Our first trip was on our honeymoon April of 1986. This will be our 30th trip. Anyone wanting to meet let me know!

From what I have learned, there will be booths set up with inexpensive small tastings and wine all around the world showcase. There are also many free demonstrations and tastings, but they are crowded. If you want to do one of the paid events, the Party for the Senses seems to be popular (& that's what we're doing). There are also everything from celebrity chef book signings, and simple pairings, to five-course dinners. If you want to do any of these, you should decide soon, I'm pretty sure some of the things are already booked up.

My DS and I (37) will be staying at CBR Oct 11-16. My son will be turning 7 on Oct 12, and we will be going to MNSSHP that night. We will be leaving too early on the 16th to go to the DIS meet.

I am so excited. I'm one of those who likes to travel alone. 41, single, no kids...I know, it's wierd...but I love it! I go where I want, eat where I want, go on the rides I like, etc, etc. All my friends are married, broke, or can't get the time off. Luckily, I don't have a problem eating alone. My trip is already totally planned out with dinner rezzies and all...and I'm eating at the good places...California Grill, Flying Fish Cafe, F&W Fest...I can't wait! Is anyone else going at this time?

Hi - I'm DVC, but staying off property this trip - I'll be in town on business all week Sept 29-Oct 7. Looking for real Dis folk to enjoy some quality park time with. If you want someone to share a table with some evening - let me know!
