first of all the plane was delayed in my connecting city of charlotte for bird ingestion into the engine. that was a 1 hr delay. (almost forgot about the family of seat kickers behind me on the first leg of the flt out of pit!)
as I land into the mco airport all I can think of is Ahhhhhhh! Then I take the tram to landside and head down towards the rental car counters to meet soem other DIS'ers that are all going to meet and spend a fun filled weekend together in disney. as I approach the seating area I have no clue as to what these people look like except that one has red hair........so as I approach a small group and I see that one has red hair I say Diane? and of course one of them turns their head and says yes? (and her name is cindy but for whatever reason I keep calling her diane and she answers to it!) so then I find out that Teejay32(who is now going to be referred to as the phantom) is outside catching a smoke. she heads ina dn then we all head to the EA at national. as we approach the isle I wonder what we will have to choose from....lets just say it was an SUV haven! there was nothing but blazers and one jimmy along with one cadillac. we took a blazer. it was nice and brand new as well it had only 16 miles on it!we loaded out bags into it and off we went! took us only 20 min or so to get to disney as we hit basically no traffic whatsoever! we were all staying at the lodge and checked in and got rooms right next to each other! nice view too!
we ended up touring the lodge on the 50 cent tour and even got to see where the mousekeeping does the laundry! after this we went to DD! got in some great shopping at market place and got to eat some noncalorie(LOL) sundaes and shakes at ghiradelli's! Teri met up with us there and we finished shopping. Emmy, cindya nd I ended up going to the premium outlets for some more shopping(something we don't get to do much of without kids) and teri and the phantom went back to the lodge. we found some excellent bargains at the character wearhouse on some disney items. after shopping till we dropped we headed back to the lodge for some jacuzzi time! and some peole got to see that yes I really do have tattoos!it was wonderful! after doing this for a while who shows up but the man himself Dan murphy! we also got to meet Ranatra! I had to leave so I could go pick up my buddy Leota!(also one of my roomies on the trip) wehad some great laughs on the ride to the lodge! by the time we got there and got the check in at the counter straightened out we met up with everyone in the roaring forks table area! and by the way I brought along my refullable mug from there and used it faithfully every day! I met Tiggersmom and that was the start of many wonderful laughs with her. when you put Tiggersmom, Leota and me together it becomes a lethal combination! these 2 are bad influences on a quite person like myself! LOL
after meeting a few other people (the names elude me right now) we all went to our respective rooms and got some much needed shut eye.
bt I feel like I'm forgetting some stuff that happened that night.......
