Not getting email notification

I've checked in my options and it is instant notification so I can't understand why I'm not getting any

i get mine in waves. sometimes days go by and nothing but i see i have replies to my post. and then there are days i get many many instant notifications including all the old ones.

I went to USER CP and saw that my instant email notifications boxes were unchecked for my subscriptions. I went back and checked them all, surfed some more, then they were unchecked again! This is not the first time.

What's up with that?
