There seem to be certain restaurants that are showing no availability with online ADR's for certain restaurants for January (such as Narcoossees, Flying Fish, 50's Prime Time and others). Calling Disney dining doesn't help because their system also shows no availability. When you call them on it, all they can say is "there is no availability". So some of you are booking other restaurants thinking that there actually is no availability, but this can't possibly be true. It has to be because certain restaurants haven't been loaded into the system yet for 2010.
Here's my gripe. Why doesn't Disney just say that on their website. Better yet, why don't they give their cast members the right information to pass onto us. Would it be so hard to say that they system hasn't been updated yet. Try back tomorrow, or the next day? Why do they have to give us (and cast members) incorrect information? No one is able to get a ressie at these certain restaurants, so those who have been trying to, don't feel discouraged.
Also, I've been trying for 5 days, since 2010 opened up on the online ADR's, to get my last ADR, but can not get the system to recognize my reservation number. Is it just me? No. After reading these boards it seems that the majority are experiencing the same dreaded E02020305001 message. Fortunately for me, I was able to book the majority of my ressies before this happened. But if I were just beginning to book ADR's I know I would be pretty ticked off. Why can't they just explain what the error message means or just say the system is down or something so we don't all keep switching computers, changing browsers, emptying our cache and deleting our cookies. Tell us what the error message means and treat us like adults who deserve an answer.
If only Disney were forthright with us it would certainly go a long way to make this process less of a nightmare. While I have written Disney I do not expect a response. This is unfair to all of us who are spending $$$ at Disney to have to waste our time on a system that is not working. Just tell us the truth and don't treat us like morons!
Also, I have booked Narcoossees for New Year's Eve. Every time I call about details, I get a different answer. It should be simple, right? Is tax and gratuity included? Yes or No (I've gotten both). Is there a DJ (I've gotten both yes and no). Is there a dress code..again yes and no. Why can't I get a straight answer? Why do I take this crap from Disney when I wouldn't ever settle for it with anyone else? Gotta wonder?
End of rant!
