We are going to WDW at the end of March but my kids would like to visit Nickelodeon. Is it worth going with two small children so that they can see Nick? We were planning on taking them to Universal when they are older. Should we go?

How old are your kids? 8-10 is the perfect ages for Nick. Why don't you plan an entire day at Universal? It is a shame to go to Florida and not go to US/IOA! The first time we went to FL, we planned the entire week at WDW, with 1 day at US. After that one day, we wanted to kick ourselves for not allocating more time there, so we canceled a Disney day for another day at US. The next year we spent 3 days at US/IOA and 1 at MGM. When we go back it is going to be 4 days at WDW and 4 days at US/IOA.

Moving this to the Universal discussion board.

Nickolodean is fun, but don't overlook the rest of Universal or Islands of Adventure. My 8 and 10 year old loved these two parks almost to the point of canceling a day at Disney. However Typhoon Lagoon won out when we finally got a day with 60 some degrees. MIB is the best ride. I think they went about 10 times each. Back to the Future they loved. They went by themselves, so I don't know what it was like. Islands of Adventure is out of this world. The first 4 hours were spent in Seussland. We ate green eggs. This area was so relaxing and fun. My advice at this park is to take a poncho because you will get wet on at least 50% of the rides.

We loved IOA and urge you to spend a lot of time there! Our 8 yr old loved it. THat spiderman ride is the BEST in any park. Sorry about Universal but we found NIckelodean a frustrating hour of boredom with a loud tour guide and we got "stuck" in a slime show...our kids weren't impressed but then other kids who watch Nick all day and know everything were totally impressed. mmmmm....
Sorry to barge in here and sound upset but with the great activity going on elsewhere Universal )or Nick) needs to do some revamping here. I must say there are people who LOVE it but don't expect to like it if your world of Nick is only Rugrats and Blue's Clues...
