NHL: Habs vs Bruins

Interesting, seems like the refs missed a bruin high stick on the kelly goal. Homers! :rotfl2:

I'll even cheer for the Bruins against the Flyers. Go Bruins

Indeed. Certainly a lot of Bruins fans that would like to see a strong effort to make up for last year's debacle.

Back to today though, this was an excellent series to watch and it easily could have gone either way. Montreal definitely gave Boston all they could handle and made those who were sure Boston would take them out in five look a tad silly.

I just prayed going into the third that the game wasn't decided by the refs and by some silly goal that goes off someones shoulder or glove to win the game. Im glad my wish came true. Good series Habs, I love this rivalry. Its just as good as Sox/Yanks and Celts/Lakers.

PS If Subban isn't already locked up for the next ten years, that would be my top priority as Habs management. That kid is filthy at the point.

Great series!!!

Now off to Philly aka Redemption City....Go B's!!!!!!

Redemption City by Corrosion of Conformity

Lost in a dream high and wide
Whatever price to keep it by our side
The steps to the top are very steep
King of the hill when all are fast asleep

but I'm stuck in between
and I know you know what I mean
What a pity...Redemption City

Broken hearts toast another round
And drink to the lost there's not a soul to be found
lonely boy says come what may
I hate to see it always end this way...

but I'm stuck in between
and I know you know what I mean
What a pity...Redemption City

Simple words remind me
Cluttered room haunts me...come back yesterday

The soul is tired and I wanna go home
And close the curtain on everything you've known
But the curtain is high wide and long
And kills the dream, so we sing this simple song

stuck in between
and I know you know what I mean
What a pity...Redemption City
What a pity

Thank God this series is over. I don't think I could've taken much more. And I'm pretty sure that my neighbors are glad it's over too because I don't think they could've taken much more of me watching the games. I tend to get a little... ummm... animated when I watch a series like this. I may have woken them up a few times with my yelling.

But this was a great series. The likes of which neither Dickens nor the Brothers Grimm could've penned. Heroes and villains on both sides. Lots of drama. And epic struggles.

Thnak you B's, can't wait to see you on Saturday.

Thank you Habs for giving me such an exciting series, laryngitis and 3-4 coronaries

And, thank you Habs fans for the ongoing tet a tet between 2 devoted fan bases. I look forward to smack talking, defending points and "Nuh uh/Uh Huh"'s next year (for AT LEAST 10 games).

Next stop Philly

I came into work late due to the Bruins come down :lmao:

What a great series! Thanks for the memories Habs.

Horton, Boychuck & Recchi - love you guys :thumbsup2

My DD is in 8th grade and has been going back and forth with her gym teacher as she is a Bruins fan and he is Canadian.

WELL - I took out my face paint and painted the Bruins "B" Logo on her cheek and it looked AWESOME!! She couldn't wait to go into school this morning. She was going to walk up to him with a handful of tissues and say "I found your crying towel in the hallway" :lmao::rotfl:
