In just 4 short days I will be going on my first cruise ever! on the Disney Wonder for a 3 night cruise.

1. If I want to go to Atlantis to gamble, is there a way of getting there other than a creepy taxi? My friend and I would prefer to go in a shuttle with more than just us. Just to feel safe.

2. Do they offer some sort of deal if you book a future cruise?

3. Is there a dress up night?

4. Food suggestions that one can just not pass up? =D

Thanks!

They have small boats that will act as a water taxi.

I can't answer #1, but:

2) Yes, there are discounts and perks for booking a cruise while onboard. You can get 10% off a future cruise fare plus onboard credit. If the future cruise is 7 nights or longer, the deposit is only 10% instead of 20%.
3) The 3 night cruises used to have an "optional dress up night", but I believe they no longer designate a night as optional dress up.
4) Everyone has different tastes, but my "must have" is the black truffle pasta pursettes at Animator's Palatte.

4. Book Palo brunch if you can (there are sometimes a few spots available on embarkation). 30$/pp. Totally worth it.

Creepy community taxi! I remember the vans all lined up and cramming people in them.
We made it there safely but I remember us taking some funny 'terrified' looking selfies in the crammed van along the way, it was quite the adventure. Haha.

LOVE LOVE the Black Truffle Pursettes! Our server brought them to us several nights because we loved them so much!

Also for food, if you see more than one thing you like don't be afraid to ask to try both, your server will bring you both dinners, appetizers or desserts! I have no shame, I've had all the desserts in front of me before, more than once! YOLO!

You don't even have to pick an actual cruise date. You can just put down $250 for a placeholder and get those benefits as long as you take the cruise within 24 months of the day you put the placeholder down. We just did that and they even sent my TA an e-mail with the info; I didn't even have to give that information (good thing - I was digging through my e-mail on my phone as we booked it and the agent said that he already had that info).

Yes! Two thumbs up.

I believe we are on the same cruise, March 2nd on the Wonder, it is also our first time! Recently I saw they took off optional dress up night for the last night, and it is now just cruise casual but that is not going to stop us from dressing up that night :yay: I'm sure some others will be too. I have been hearing a lot about Tiana's place and to not pass up the beignets!

Every night is optional dress up night. Wear whatever makes you happy for dinner. You shouldn't have any problems getting around Nassau. They have tons of options right on the pier if you don't want to do the Disney stuff. If you plan to go to the casino, you are better off finding your own way anyway. Don't stress about stuff, you will enjoy yourself. Talk to other people on the ship for tips and ideas. Chances are about half the people have been on a Disney ship to the Bahamas before.

Chocolate souffle in Palo is one of our favorites along with the filet. White chocolate bread pudding in Tainas place was really good as well.
