I attended NYE at MGM as a teenager and there was a great show with live bands (we saw the Monkeys & Tiny Tim amongst others). Do they still do things like that, and if so, will there be an entertainment line up posted so you can decide which park you want to go to?
I've read that the parks close early on NYE - around 11am. Do people really go and stay the whole day to midnight with little kids? Sounds nightmarish to me! My kids are older and could handle it, but it still sounds like a long day.
Do they give out party hats & stuff? I know they did when I was there but that was a LONG time ago!
