New Shows Aboard Ship

How often do they change? We've had the same shows several times!

Very infrequently - they only have room on board for 3 production shows at a time.

Dreams on the Wonder has been there since the beginning (1999) - but it has been "refreshed" at least once
Golden Mickey's has been going since 2005 and probably earlier.
Toy Story - Relatively new - we first saw it in 2011
Twice Charmed - opened in 2005 with the first Panama Canal transits by the Magic

Also, Villians Tonight replaced Golden Mickeys on the Magic in March 2010. Toy Story replaced Hercules on the Wonder in March 2008.

Shows usually have to run 6-7 years to be worth the expense involved with developing a new one. A recent audition call included the roll of Tarzan specifying the rope work done in Golden Mickeys, so that won't be going anywhere for a while. It was a call for both the Magic & Wonder for a cast going to the ships after the Magic's drydock and no mention of a new show or characters.
