New Rides at Hollywood Studios

I last visited Hollywood Studios 10 years ago I’m 26.
Are you asking if there are any new rides added at DHS in the past 10 years?

If so - many!
- Slinky Dog Dash
- Alien Saucer Spin
- Millenium Falcon Smugglers Run
- Rise of the Resistance
- Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway
- Frozen Singalong

Many things are gone though too. I would recommend reviewing the MDE app.

What, people do the work themselves? Never LOL
Isn't asking here doing the work? Typing the question on the DISboards rather than on a search engine. And you can not only get the information you want you can (potentially) get into a nice conversation with fellow Disney park goers.

Or is the only way to do the work themselves is a web search?

Only way no
Most efficient yes
Since no one here can read the OP’s mind no posting here is not as good. No one here knew when OP last visited until told
Doing a Google search would let the person doing the search see the dates and know the info based on their last visit right off the bat. No need to wait for a back and forth

Late to the party, but here is a quickie summary of what happened to HS over the past 10+ years.
  • No more sorcerer micky hat. RIP :(
  • New lands - Toy Story Land (bigger Toy Story Mania ride, rollercoaster themed to slinky dog, and an alien-themed saucer ride). Galaxy's edge - It's huge, and if you're a star wars fan, this is for you. There are two rides in that land with fairly long waits, but make sure you download the play disney app since you can interact with so many of the land's items and complete missions through the app. If you drink, Oga's is a good place for a quick drink if you can get an ADR.
  • The great movie ride is now Mickey and Minnie's Runnaway Railway
  • Many shows are still closed due to COVID, so lines for the typical ride-type attractions are higher since there's no shows to at least take in a lot of the crowd. The nightly show Fantasmic is coming back
  • If you park hop to Epcot's WS entrance or are in certain resorts, there's a new transportation option to get to HS - The Skyliner.
  • Fastpass+ has now changed to Genie+ with Individual Lightning Lanes. Pretty much for genie+ you pay per day to be able to make fastpass selections, but some rides (like the ones in Galaxy's Edge) are not included. Those rides you can purchase individual fastpasses for the day-of (7AM EST I believe).
  • OH - forgot one that is important. You need to make reservations to get into the parks now. Once you buy your tickets, reserve HS ASAP, as that is often the first park to be fully booked.

HS is a vastly different park than 10 years ago. Others have covered the new attractions already, which are many.

What's gone (just to name a few):
  • Lights Motors Action stunt show
  • Bugs life play area
  • Honey I shrunk the Audience
  • Studio Backlot Tour
  • Voyage of the Little Mermaid (TBD when/if it will return)
  • Great Movie Ride (replaced with Mickey Minnie Runaway Railway)
  • Animation Academy Drawing Class

Doing a Web search is so "sterile"!
But also more accurate. A simple visit to Disney's website would tell you everything in the park, and then you would know exactly what was new since the last time you were there, and exactly what was gone. No guesses about the date of last visit. A few have offered information here, and there is still not a comprehensive answer. It is always best to go to the most accurate source for information. The fact that people consider message boards and Social Media to be accurate reference material is a why so many are misinformed about so many things.

Now, if you want opinions, strategies, or the official sources simply don't cover your question, then places like this are the way to go.
