Remember, though, that Epcot doesn't totally control the updating of the films. Since each country's government / tourism bureau foots a significant portion of the bill, if China or Canada says "not this year" then it doesn't really matter what Epcot is thinking.Originally posted by Sarangel

But it's a 360° movie. If a CircleVision theater had regular theater chairs, you would only see see the front half of the movie. If a CircleVision theater had swivel chairs, the chairs would have to be so far apart that theater capacity would be too low, and guests would object becuase they would be sitting too far from their family members.Originally posted by Uncleromulus

There's a reason why the audience stands in CircleVision theaters. (But if you look at other guests, it's amazing how many always face one direction.)
