A queen sized raised air matress seen here http://www.amazon.com/Intex-Raised-...orting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1314369442&sr=1-1and two twin size ones for my boys seen here http://www.amazon.com/Cozy-Kidz-Air...=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1314369471&sr=1-3. I have an led lantern seen here http://www.amazon.com/Coleman-CPX6-...=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1314369503&sr=1-2 and 3 small kid sized lanterns seen here http://www.amazon.com/Dorcy-41-3014...=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1314369542&sr=1-2.

We have the dining plan so I won't be cooking at the site at all.

My plan from reading here at the DIS is to pack everything in totes. Request 1500 loop. Bring a cooler for drinks and snacks and a fan to keep the tent cool. I don't anticipate needing a/c in early November. I won't bring a food tent since we are on the dining plan and I won't bring chairs since their is a bench at the site.

LIST
1. Sleeping Tent
2. Play Tent
3. Cooler
4. Tote with clothes
5. Tote with personal items
6. Fan
7. Lantern
8. Tarp for under the tent
9. Tarp for over the tent
10. Clothes line
11. Clothes pins
12. Garbage bags
13. Solar Lights
14. Bug Spray

Did I miss anything?

Just subbing. We are at the Fort in October in a cabin, I am interested in tent camping there. I am like you a newbie and I am clueless when it comes to all this.

Baby wipes or wet ones (these are great for not having a sink handy and for the parks)
I know you are going to use the picnic table as a "chair". I would bring at least 2 chairs so you can sit outside of the tent and enjoy the Nov. weather. Maybe a cup of coffee while the kids are sleeping. that is our favorite part-drinking a beer or coffee at the campsite in comfort. :thumbsup2
My #1 best suggestion: recycle grocery bags $.99 -load your towel, clothes etc. in the Publix or Walmart bag (whoevers bag) and go to the comfort stations. Each family member has a bag. This way you aren't bringing the "kitchen" sink in for showers. Its smaller than a duffle bag and hangs great from the hook in the stall.

when u have electric then use it. Plenty of extension cords. Electric frying pans. A good fan. Toaster oven. Chairssss. Table for food prep. Drink cooler and food cooler. Aluminum foil roasting pans for holding food and disposing easily without cleaning. Bungee cords to hold table cloth around picnic table..(wrap around each end)

Looks like you covered the basics, but the campground is pretty dark after nightfall, so I recommend bringing some small flashlights for navigating to/from the comfort stations and for walking in the campground (ie, to/from the movies, to/from the trading posts, to/from transportation). Also, don't forget to bring some rain gear (poncho, jackets, umbrella, etc) just in case. Camera, we like pictures.

Hope you have a wonderful trip and a wonderful time

Well, the OP is from South Florida. So they can watch local conditions but I don't know if you will need a fan in November.

But hey, that's just me. :surfweb:

Ok Great!

So I need to add a few chairs, towels and my camera. I guess I didn't do too bad with my packing list.

We have the same airmattress and love it! I added a few things above. Hope you have a great time :thumbsup2

I'd suggest a 10'x10' basic canopy to put over the picnic table. The dew is heavy at night and everything gets wet. The covered picnic table will provide a dry place to sit.

Snacks including breakfast bars, etc. are good because it may take an hour or more total to get from your tent to your restaurant.
