We have a cruise booked one month away. I just found out i might have another knee surgery next week. If I do i will be on crutches and need a wheelchair to help get around the boat. I looked on line and it looks like all those rooms are taken. If I have a note from my doctor to fax to Disney, what are the odds that
something can be done. I will not cancel the cruise. I will make do with what I have which is a 9c, just trying to make it a little easier. Thanks in advance, just your thoughts or opinions please.

My dh tore his achilles tendon a month before our 2014 DCL Alaska cruise. I called DCL as soon as we found out that he would be in a cast and would need the aid of a knee scooter and/or crutches. I was told all accessible rooms were booked & there was nothing they could do. I called back several times and checked online, but nothing ever came available. It was not easy, but the crew was very helpful. Someone always stepped into help us at the buffet, shows, etc. The stateroom was the only challenge. You will have to keep your wheelchair in your room and that is hard to maneuver! Good luck!
