Qualifying is set for FRIDAY, October 31st. Please make your picks before qualifying is scheduled to begin.

Technical difficulties with my other computer isn't allowing me to look at hsitory at the moment.

I'll have to just go with my picks.

Texas picks are:

C Edwards <~~ I saw a graphic that the #99 has the most wins, top 5 finishes and top 10 finishes of the current drivers...

J Gordon <~~ he has the momentum...

K Harvick <~~~ He dropped from 2nd in the chase to eighth after a rough Martinsville race...he needs to do well to avoid elimination...

J Logano <~~~~ Nees to do better than his 5th place finish last week...

JR!! <~~~ How about his big win? Even better was the sheer happiness on display...

Some history now that my technical difficulties have been fixed....

Texas Motor Speedway will hold the "AAA Texas 500" on Sunday, November 2nd.

Phoenix and Holmstead are the only races remaining after Texas.

Texas Motor Speedway is a quad-oval track with a lap distance of 1.50 miles.
We'll see 334 laps raced for a total race distance of 501 miles.

The #99 C Edwards and the #48 J Johnson each have 3 wins here.

Other history:

#22 J Logano won the race held here in April.

In 2013, #18 Kyle Busch and #48 J Johnson were the race winners.

In 2012, #16 G Biffle and #48 J Johnson grabbed the checkered flags.

In 2011, #20 M Kenseth and #14 T Stewart took trips to Victory Lane.

In 2010, #11 D Hamlin won both Texas races.
