The 21st race of the 2012 season is at Pocono Raceway for the "Pennsylvania 400". The race will be held on SUNDAY, August 5th.
Qualifying is set for SATURDAY, August 4th. Please make your picks before qualifying is scheduled to begin.
Pocono Raceway is a Tri-oval track with a lap distance of 2.50 miles. We'll see 160 laps of racing for a total distance of 400 miles.
We just visited this track a few weeks ago.
Bill Elliott and Jeff Gordon have the most wins here with 5 apiece.
Other hstory:
In 6/12, #20 J Logano breezed from berginning to end.
In 6/11, #51 Kurt Busch won the pole and #24 J Gordon won the race.
In 8/11. #20 J Logano had pole honors but the first to cross the start-finish line was #2 B Kezelowski.
In 6/10, #18 Kyle Busch turned in the fastest qualifying time in a race where #11 D Hamlin was victorious.
In 8/10, #14 T Stewart was on the first grid and #16 G Biffle grabbed the checkered flag.
In 6/09, #14 T Stewar went wire to wire.
In 8/09, #14 T Stewart sat on the pole but gave way to #11 D Hamlin.
#5 K Kahne an #99 C Edwards won the races in 2008.
