Next up is our second visit this season to Michigan International Speedway for the "Pure Michigan 400" on Sunday, August 17th.

This is the 23rd race of the 2014 season.

Qualifying is set for FRIDAY, August 15th. Please make your picks before qualifying is scheduled to begin.

Michigan International Speedway is a D-oval track with a lap distance of 2.00 miles. We'll see 400 miles of NASCAR Sprint Cup racing after 200 laps.


#16 G Biffle leads the way here with 4 victories.

Other history:

#48 J Johnson won the race in June this year.

In 2013, #16 G Biffle and #22 J Logano grabbed the checkered flags.

In 2012, #88 JR!! and #16 G Biffle were the race winners.

In 2011, #11 D Hamlin and #18 Kyle Busch ended up in Victory Lane.

In 2010, #11 D Hamlin and #4 K Harvick were first to cross the start-finish line.
