The "Tums Fast Relief 500" will be held at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday, October 28th.
This is the 33rd race of the 2012 season.
Qualfying is set for FRIDAY, October 26th. Please make yourpicks before qualifying is scheduled to begin.
Martinsville Speeway is an oval track with a lap distance of 0.53 miles. Afte 500 laps of NASCAR racing, we'll see a total race distance of 263 miles.
Darryl Waltrip chlaked up 11 wins here which makes him the winningest Martinsville driver since 1975.
Other history:
In 4/12, #5 K Kahe sat on the pole in a race won b #39 R Newman.
In 4/11, #1 J McMurray was the fastest qualifier and #29 K Harvick grabbed the sheckered flag.
In 10/11, #99 C Edwards was 1st behind the pace car to start the race but it was #14 T Stewart who ended up in Victory Lane.
In 3/10, #29 K Harvick had pole honors and we saw #11 D Hamin go on to the win.
In 10/10, # 11 D Hamlin went coast to coast.
In 3/09, #24 J Gordon was on top the leaderboard when the green flag dropped but it was #48 J Johnson who was ahead when the checkered flag dropped.
In 10/09, #39 R Newman was in the first starting grid and the victory belonged to #11 D Hamlin.
