The 27th race this season and the start of the cup chase is the "Southern Point 400" at Ls Vegas Motor Speedway on SUNDAY, September 15th.
Qualifying is set for SATURDAY, September 14th. Please make your picks before qualifying is scheduled to begin.
Some fun odds and ends:
Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a tri-oval track with a lap distance of 1.50 miles. We will see 267 laps raced for a total race distance of 401 miles.
The 2018 winner was #2 B Kezlowski. FYI, This fall race had been at New Hampshire Motor Speedway but NASCAR announced in March 2017 it was being moved to Las Vegas in 2018.
#2 is the only winner of the fall race since the move and his win was in Overtime.
In other Las Vegas Motor Speedway races, the #48 Has the most wins for active drivers with 4.
He also has the most Top 5's
#22 has the best average start at 7.6 and the best average finish at 9.18.
