The next race is the "Quaker State 400" at Kentucky Speedway on SATURDAY, July 9th.
Qualifying is set for FRIDAY, July 8th.
Please make your picks before qualifying is scheduled to begin.
This is the 18th race this season and marks the end of the 1st half of the 2016 schedule.
Kentucky Speedway is a tri-oval track with a lap distance of 1.50 miles. 267 laps willbe raced for a total race distance of 401 miles.
@ B Kezelowski and #18 Kyle Busch lead everyone with 2 victories each at Kentucky.
Other history:
NASCAR only visits the track once a year.
In 2015, #18 Kyle Busch won the race.
In 2014, #2 B Kezelowski led at the end.
In 2013, #20 M Kenseth grabbed the checkered flag.
In 2012, #2 B Kezelowski won for the first time at Kentucky.
My Kentucky picks:
B Kezelowski <~~~ Why not? Fresh off his first win at daytona and he certainly knows this race track...
Kyle Busch <~~~ Likes this place....does good here....and is racing well...
K Harvick <~~ A spot of bad luck at Daytona...I'm looking for a strong effort this week from the #4...
K Larson <~~~ I've been high on this guy lately....someone tell me why I didn't pick him ANYWHERE last week? HMMM? ANYBODY?
J Logano <~~~ Watch out for the #22 to have a monster race... You heard it here first...
My spare will be J Johnson...
I received no picks this week.
OK! Happy 4th of July to one and to all!
See you soon...
