The 36th race of the 36 race 201 season finds us at Homestead-Miami Speedway for the "Ford EcoBoost 400".
The race will be held on SUNDAY, November 18th.
Qualifying is set for FRIDAY, November 16th. Please make your picks before qualifying is scheduled to begin.
Homestead-Miami Speedway is an oval track with a lap distance of 1.50 miles. The race will make 267 circuts for a total race distance of 401 miles.
#16 G Biffle has the most wins here since 1975. He has 3 victories.
Other history:
In 11/11, #99 C Ed3wards sat on the pole in a race won by #14 T Stewart.
In 11/10, #5 K Kahne turned in the fastest qualifying time but gave way to race winner #99 C Edwards.
In 11/09, #48 J JOhnson was in the 1st starting grid but it was #11 D Hamlin celebrating in Victory Lane.
In 11/08, #00 D Reutimann had pole honors an #99 C Edwards grabbed the checkered flag.

The #48 is 20 points behind the #2. The #2 has averaged a 20th place finish here...and...he needs to finish 15th or higher to clinch the chase cup.

D Hamlin <~~~ Does pretty well here...he's coming off a 2nd place finish at Phoenix....looks good to me...
G Biffle <~~~ he's had a heck of a year....a good showing at Homestead would be nice icing on his cake...
C Edwards <~~~~ A proven winner here...spolier? I say yes..
J Johson<~~ He met disaster at Phoenix when the blown tire took him into the wall...as a 5 time Sprint Cup Champion....if anyone can come back and pull it off...it's the #48...
B Keselowski<~~~ I've said for weeks how focused he is....he kows better than anyone how he's done here...I look for him to race and race hard...
