Welcome to the 2016 season!
Our first race is the Daytona 500 on SUNDAY, February 21st!
The rules are simple. You pick 5 drivers and a spare. Please be clear on who your selection is. Remember, you are picking a driver and not a car or number. Plus, in cases like the Busch brothers, K Busch is not a clear pick. We do the best we can in determining intent, but it can be difficult.
You pick a spare in the event a regular pick does not race that week. It could be because of injury (like T Stewart at the start of this season -- GOOD LUCK TONY!) or your pick does not qualify or for whatever reason doesn't race. Also, if your intent is not clear, the spare will be used.
Scoring is simple. The place finish of your picks are added together then divided by 5.
In the event you have 4 of the 5 picks to score, you will be given a (43).
Also, there is an allowance for the All Star race, That allowance is: if you wish to participate, the All Star score will be used to either replace your worst score to that point or fill in a week you may have missed.
We also have a default thread in case you miss a week for any reason. The defaults are used up to 5 times a season.
