Up next is te "Irwin Tools Night Race" at Bristol Motor Speedway on SATURDAY, August 25th.
This is the 24th race of the 36 race 2012 season. After this race, we'll be 2/3rd's through the season and only a couple races away from the start of the chase.
Qualifying is set for FRIDAY, August 24th. Please make your picks before qualifying is scheduled to begin.
BristolMotor Speedway is an oval track with a lap distance of 0.53 miles. 500 laps will be held for a total race distance of 267 miles.
Darrell Waltrip has 12 victories here since 1975. This makes him the winningest driver during that time.

In 3/12, #16 was on the pole in a race won by #2 B Kezelwski.
In 3/11, #99 mad it first to start the race and #18 Kyle Busch won te trophy.
In 8/11, #39 R Newan was in the starting grid but gave way to #2 B Kezelowski.
In 3/10, #20 J Logano had pole honors and we wtched #48 take the checkered flag.
In 8/10, #48 J Johnson turned in the fastest qualifying time and #18 Kyle Busch took his THIRD trip in a row to Vctory Lane at Bristol.
#18, as stated above, won bot races in 2009.
#31 J Burton and #99 Cedwards won the Bristol races in 2008.

J Johnson <~~~ He does well here too...and despite a poor 28th place showing at Michigan...I can't not pick him...
JR! <~~~ What can I say? he's had such a good 2012 season....I don't see him letting up...
G Biffle <~~~ 1st last week....but....see above...lol
B Kezelowski <~~~ Hmmm...time to jump on his bandwagon...and...am I the only one who thinks he bears a strong resemblance to Joe DiMaggio?
