Are there M&G photo opportunities around with the characters/princesses? Are there characters that are typically not around on an everybody basis around for M&G for the party? Are all the rides open? Other than parades not sure what goes on at the party. TIA

There are a lot of character opportunities to be had! The rarest (Jack Skellington, 7 Dwarfs, etc) have long waits so be prepared to either wait or get in line as early as they'll let you. Most of the attractions are open and offer very minimal wait times. Two good comprehensive reviews to check out are here and here.

We waited about 90 minutes for the dwarves during MNSSHP............and that was from 5:30pm to 7pm.........it gets longer. Looking to do Santa Goofy this December!

We went the last 2 years and had a great time! In addition to the parades there are shows in Tomorrowland and in front of the castle that are not shown at other times. The character greetings are fun! We had our picture taken with all 7 Dwarfs 2 years ago. Yes, we stood in line but it was fun to do once. We also really enjoyed the dance parties!
